Current Server Settings and Landmarks:

- New RUST Vanilla : Go to official Rust Website @ http://playrust.com/ for details.  Also visit http://www.rustafied.com/ for an up-to-date overview of recent changes in the new default RUST!.  Also contains a number of useful Guides.

- Future server community Lighthouse proposed.  May contain storage with some basic resources to assist fresh spawns.  *Concept Only* idea at this time.

Well.  After a hiatus from the original RUST Legacy, and the clans previous Rust server Fury Road ... I'm proud to announce that once again, the =mfp= are delving back into the Rust wilderness.

As of today, the new Rust that has been under development over the past 12 months, RUST Experimental, has been officially listed as going live, and is now known simply as RUST.  The old RUST legacy is still currently running (although hasn't been updated in 6 months), and now its future appears to be destined for the archives.

To celebrate the move, and due to recent reinvigorated clan interest in the new RUST, we have opened up a new public RUST server for all to enjoy.

Firstly, the Atomic Café name is simply a Mad Max reference.  As the clan was built on the base and theme of the classic Mad Max movies, it was a no brainer.  Our DayZ Standalone public server Beyond Thunderdome also has the same obvious theme path.

If you haven't already, I think its important for all new users of the ATOMIC CAFE server to read up Garys latest Devblog to find out what has been happening of recent, and the big move made in the last 24 hours.  http://playrust.com/friday-devblog-28/

Server admins are still finding their feet on the Atomic Café server and have already successfully tested an external RCON Admin tool.  The old RCON system from Legacy does not function in new RUST.  Although the options are basic, it has some good basic admin tools to help keep the server running as smoothly as is practicable.

PS.  At the time of purchasing the server yesterday, RUST was still known as Experimental.  Since the aforementioned change in the last 24hours, we will shut the server down sometime today .. and remove the Experimental reference from the server name.  Cheers.

Why? This ensures your set for the live 'Default' branch of RUST.  The same as ATOMIC CAFE.  Go HERE! and read Garys spiel under the Branches heading, to get a clearer picture.... hopefully

A few fairly major bugs reared there head last update.  Gary and the boys are working hard as usual to fix and update weekly.  I'm hoping the bugged Door KEYS on server restart is fixed in the next 24hours.

Why server Wipe you might ask.  Here is a comment from our server provider and the general 'safe' process for updating with significant server side updates.

"When they add new features we suggest wipes as new items may not spawn on already created maps etc."

IF you've read the Rustafied lads last notes.  Some good changes and bug fixes.  But some new bugs as normal.  Have a read.

Note: Current issues on since new patch.  Players, including myself getting kicked within 1 min.  I've sent a support ticket to the server provider and liasoning with them as we speak.

Will keep updated.  I have a previous engagement this morning, so trying to rectify the issue before I go.  If not ... will be onto it this afternonn.

Wow!  2 server side updates in 2 days.  I follow the lads at Rustafied.com closely.  They test everything and give feedback.  They didn't Wipe their servers this time with the update ... and it seemed to work.  I followed suit.  Also seems like updates rolled over fine.  Good to know for future updates.

Sound fixed already (haven't tested guns yet though)  New craftable items and some general updates.  
Rustafied lads did make 1 comment to note: "If you're having trouble with your doors, hit lock with a rock!"

Jump on their blog to see whats up with the new update.  Big props to Gary and the RUST devs for working hard at keeping us all satisfied and updated!!
