Hacker (and rule breach) Reports

We are now actively hunting hackers!

Please submit any Hacker reports below with as much detail as you can, include what happened, what time and date it occurred, including players listed as being on the server at the time. The more information we get the more we can seek out hackers and clean them from our server.

i would not say this is as much as a hacking report but today 26/10/14 while greencan skorzney and myself where playing arma 3 Fury road server player named "spartan" and "wog69" were able to vote spartan into an admin role on the server this happened around anywhere from 5am-6am AEST

That is a simple config setting I need to adjust (keep forgetting lol), think? it only allows them to select the game mission set though?, although the server is set to Wasteland Stratis only anyway.

In any case will sort it out this arvo, after work..

                   There seems to be a new hack going around.
On fury road I have had my and my mates 3 in total primary weapon disappear just as we are being attacked. We also have lost all the money that we are carrying whilst still alive and not under attack.
On other servers we have all died at the same moment by a team member who is no where near us and we are several Ks from each other.
Also afgm cambo got several kills on fury road where he did nothing and now hhe is locked out of bluefor.
Don't know if you can do anything about it but I thought I would let you know.

The being locked to a specific team/force side appears to be a game version bug I think donk, had it happen to me while I was trying to join the Independents it kept saying I was locked to them already?? due to a couple team kills or similar? but still only let me join BLUFOR and I've not had any team kills on the server?? etc...
Tested an admin function to allow a player to 'switch teams' and it worked on myself fine (need to be in game though - other than a full server/files wipe). So lookout for me or (new admin) Lone Wolf when on and we can do it in game. Just beware it appears you lose any cash on you when you swap teams so stash it prior to... function allows you to return to the lobby and switch to any team, without difficulty, although yet to retest on anyone else.

As for the losing money, gear, being killed at similar times in different areas, these are all server admin functions available to us, *which unfortunately means hackers will no doubt have access to the same functions. If anything suspect happens again, please list/ or screenshot the other players on at the time so we can narrow down a suspect list and hunt them and eventually add them to our server banned list.

The server admins will often put our Admin 'Hats' on and spectate all players on at random and check their gear. movements etc... as much as we can, however hackers these days are fairly sneaky and try to blend in to reduce their chances of being caught out. We will continue to hunt them as much as we can. Having specific players to watch from reports here will help a lot as we go though.

First real hacker reports. can be backed by Mr Foo.

We had just taken a money truck north of Rogain. as we moved down to take it we were engaged by 1 player who shot at graph. graph kills said player (Exilez FTP) less than 7 seconds later he kills graph from behind and myself and foo are taking fire from the opposite position. graph says goodbye and my self and foo are pinned. foo runs towards graphs body and dies by exilez i move off around to the south for the flank. as i cross the road exiles is firing at me i count 30 shots from a katiba and turn to face for a shot while he reloads and he fires off 7 more to kill me with out reloading and puts some more into my dead body. we had seen 2 more with this exilez and knew they were in a group of 3. we both spawn at camp maxwell, 3KM away and withing 30 seconds we are taking shots and foo dies from exilez. we start to get suspicious foo repawns at maxwell and i get killed by someone forgot who. i repawn at maxwell foo watches the guys and i find a guy named Codey 878 who kills me within 5 secs of spawning and than foo dies. So by my count we have teleporting, unlimited mag, and while this was all going on exilez kept getting kicked for "create vehicle restriction #0". photos show that we were the only ones on the server and the messages aswell. Exiles also did not kill the other 2 playerson the server.

Need an Admin to catch them online, to get their Arma3 GUID numbers then I can add them to the servers ban list file.

They can appeal any such ban should they desire...

If hackers keep becoming an issue I'll appoint some junior Admins so they can get their GUID's for me etc... as required.

I found a tank, Proceeded to use it as any player would, apon attempting to cap an air-base, he jumped in my tank and drove me and the tank off a cliff..
Accused myself and multiple other [TdS] Member's of hacking in the tank as well as hacking in the game in general...
I couldn't attack him or do anything as he was on the same side..

Hopefully a tosser like this gets the break from the server he needs..

DanOmate banned for 3 days from the server, further instances of breaches of server rules may have a harsher penalty.

DanOmate you are welcome to appeal the ban. However we take reports from our TdS cousins (as with other clans we associate with) with some credibility.

Offence making himsefl admin and just kicking me all the time.

I was in gun shop near airfield when Hoorah came in he then joined me at gun shop we were both RED I had purchsed guns ecetra and started to head off he followed and then shot me and took gear.. I punished him for that -- he changed from red to green -- i did type up sayin "it was a dog act shooting team mates" he then proceded to vote and make himself admin then kicked me from game now i get in game and get kicked straight away.. and all i was want was to jump in have a run around before i get back to my uni work lol
now 11.57am nsw time and hes seems to be gone so might try again.
